Michael T. Mercier, Jr.

Michael Travers Mercier Jr., age 37, of Barto, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 5, 2026. He was born on November 22, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Michael was a beloved son, brother, father, and a proud United States Navy veteran. He will be remembered for the deep love he had for his entire family, and his joy in spending time in the great outdoors.

Michael is survived by his children, Samuel and Joseph Mercier, their mother, Caitlin Mercier; his parents, Michael and Nancy Mercier; his sister, Valerie Blood and her husband William Blood; his niece and nephew Ava and Mason Blood; his grandmother Barbara Mercier; his grandmother Sarah Short; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

His family hopes he will be remembered for the life he lived, and how much he loved his entire family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Michael will be deeply missed and forever loved.
